About Myself 

Vani Kapoor has a subtle magnetic factor which set her apart from the flock of her contemporaries.  The understatement and liveliness with which she exudes herself makes her quite admirable and adorable to all and sundry. The proprietor of femme fatale looks this Cleopatra reincarnated has a charm to gravitate the thing she loves.

She faced the camera for the first time with the braces holding her teeth strongly. It was a print shoot for dove but everything turned out immaculately well. Since that day Vani is basking high in the light of applause and some more applause for her seductively alluring looks.

So we caught up with her channeling out the girl hidden behind that gorgeous face.

A peep into your formative years….

I was born and brought up in Delhi. I went to Mata Jai Kaur Public School(MJKPS) , Ashok Vihar. After completing my schools, I took up a year program in Hospitality with Oberois in Jaipur. It really helped me evolve holistically as a person. Thereafter, I worked with ITC and got a good professional exposure. Besides I am also a graduate in Tourism from IGNOU.  Finally I landed up at Elite Model Management some nine months ago.

Parents view about modeling as a career……

As my father is a businessman so he had no issues with it. My parents were comfortable and cool with my choice. Infact they supported me in every possible manner.

Your first brush with modeling….

It was a dove print advertisement which introduced me to the world of modeling. Actually at that time I used to have braces on my teeth but I gave the test and got selected luckily.

Tell us something about your journey in the world of modeling till date……

Actually it was some nine months back that I was signed by Elite. The first four months were quite horrid and I wasn’t sure of anything. But by the end of December things started taking shape favorably. Since that day I have had done a lot of editorials, catalogues and print ads like Ireo, Dove and Lakshita.

Your aspiration as a kid……

Everything some day or the other. One day I wanted to be a doctor and very next day it was being an Air Hostess that used to churn my fantasies. I wasn’t focused to be in some specific career.

You are very scared of…….

I hate rats , lizards and every creepy organism. Oh…..I hate snakes most. Just a look of them leaves me shrieking and shuddering. I can’t model with them.

Bollywood as a career option…..

I am all sashaying towards it. Elite is all helping me to get into it. And definitely I want to make big in bollywood.

Your favorite Indian and International Designers……

In India I like the simplicity of designs of Sabyasachhi. His work is simple yet so stylish and eye catching. And Internationally I admire Armani for its classy outfits.

Idea of an ideal date….

I hate going to dates provided the other person makes me feel comfortable. I mean to say it should be very cool and casual. And…and  there must be some good eating plans because I love to eat.

You employ your time off the ramp by……

I am a big movie buff. I love to watch movies and can sit for hours watching my favorite flicks again and again. And apart from movies I am a true shopaholic.

Any social cause that you feel strongly for……

Actually I am not directly associated to some social cause but yes my father runs an NGO, Animal Strength Hospital in North Delhi. There are more than 100 dogs and pets taken care and looked after. As I am an animal lover so I am associated to it quite actively.

Difference between Indian Models and Western Models…….

It depends from person to person. I mean there is no such big difference between the two. Yes but if we generalize we find them thinner and taller than us but basically its all about an individual.

You want to spend your vacations in….

Hawai.

Most touchy feely moment of your life….

Infact there are many such moments in my life but I think when my sister got married and all set to live abroad, that moment still brings tear in my eyes. I miss her but I am very happy for her.
